Full Description:

Our client is seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineering Instructor/Lecturer, to train mechanical engineering apprentices.

You must have:

* Level 3 mechanical engineering qualifications or equivalent
* Significant industrial experience of milling, turning and bench fitting etc
* Experience of tool making and CAD are desirable but not essential
* Empathy with young people in the age group 16-22
* Good communication skills, written and oral

Whilst not essential, previous teaching/assessing experience would be an advantage. In the absence of this, the successful applicant must be willing to be trained to become qualified in teaching and assessing.

This is a permanent position with a twelve week probationary (temporary) contract then going permanent. The company offers 25 days holiday.
