A fanatastic local opportunity to work fro a well established manufacturing company the role will invole:
To manage the planning team and to ensure day to day responsibilities are performed within time scales expected and quality required; developing planning programmes, knowledge, staff and working practices in order to improve delivery performance, productivity, throughput and product flow.
Produce, agree, communicate, monitor and maintain the Master plans for production within the Print, Factory and Bureau departments; optimisation of current and forward workloads to encourage work flow efficiencies, reduced lead times, capacity maximisation and profitability potential.
Provide a realistic operational plan ensuring that it is effectively distributed by the planning teams and progression within production monitored regularly.
Development, implementation and monitoring of a new planning tool, incorporating the changing needs of information flow requirements for all areas of the Company; training other planning team members and production personnel on the functionality of this new programme to allow an easy transition; develop procedures and best working practices for the planning department.
