Our client, a specialist recruitment organisation, are seeking to recruit an Associate Consultant to join their commercial team. This is a great opportunity for a bright graduate or second jobber to start a career in specialist recruitment.
You will be providing a fast, efficient and accurate service to managers and sales teams, delivering well matched and qualified candidates to meet clients' requirements.
To develop exceptional relationships with candidates to understand their requirements and ensure they are well matched to vacancies, thereby reducing the likelihood of offers being rejected or candidates dropping out.
To telephone interview candidates to match client job specifications;
Build relationships with candidates to develop trust and gain their commitment
Manage candidate expectations
Manage the recruitment process to ensure you are in close contact with relevant candidates, managing their expectations, understanding how committed they are to opportunities with Spinnaker's clients and how they compare with opportunities with other clients
Develop knowledge of relevant market sectors, clients and technical skills used within those sectors to ensure accurate matching of candidates
Ensure quality and completeness of job specifications received from Managers/Sales teams
Administration
Develop skill and competence in using database effectively
Keep database up to date
Record all interactions with candidates/clients
Record the progress of candidates through the recruitment process
You will ideally have A Level or degree level of education (or equivalent) with aspirations for an opportunity to build a career in recruitment, or have some recruitment experience.
You will have a confident personality, be serious about your working career, be well spoken and professional.
