Trade / Institutional Administrator

Chelmsford

Up to £24,000 (depending on experience)

This is a permanent full time position working in the centre of Chelmsford for a large Investment Company. The position is based within the Institutional Services Department and the successful applicant will be required to provide a full service to all Institutional clients, both existing and new.

As Institutional Administrator you will be responsible for:

• Providing a full front to back trade support function
• Setting up new Institutional clients and running BAU procedures and processes thereafter
• Answering client queries over the phone, via email and by letter
• Issuing pre-advices and raising CHAPS / BACS payments for distributions
• Investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks for both assets and cash
• Processing all transfer in and transfer out notifications
• Placing manual trades and general trade support duties
• Running and notification of all daily settlements reporting, including the production of CHAPS payments

My client is looking for a proven team player with strong analytical and communication skills. You should also be results driven, and motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous Investment experience and will be used to working in a process orientated environment. Ideally you will be from an Asset Management or Custody background. Also Trade Support experience and being familiar with the trade life cycle would be advantageous. You will need to have good computer skills should be capable of complying with the requirements of the regulatory regime within which my client operates.
