Mortgage + Protection Advisor
Hockley
£15,000 - £20,000 + Commission / self employed
I am looking for an experienced Mortgage Advisor who is fully CeMap qualified (or equivalent) to join my client in Hockley. This is a permanent full time position which offers the successful candidate a basic salary of £15,000 - £20,000 plus commission or self employed options are available.
As Mortgage Advisor you will be responsible for providing mortgage and protection advice to clients in a competent and professional manner whilst observing all regulatory requirements.
Accountabilities for this role will include:
Offering advice to clients seeking to purchase a property, qualifying the client’s potential to secure finance
Providing accurate and fully considered advice and then maintaining contact with the client until such time as a suitable property is found and an application for a mortgage is to be made
Maintaining contact with the client throughout the purchase until the offer is received and the protection contract is underwritten
Fully explaining the various different mortgages available and making sure the client understands the differences between the various types
Providing a detailed estimate of costs identifying all up front and monthly payments
This position requires someone with previous mortgage experience who has strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills. You will also need to be computer literate with good MS Office skills.
To be considered for this position you must be able to prove you have had success in selling within this field to ideally a six figure sum and be able to prove this at interview.
