Our client is seeking a Fleet Administrator, also dealing with stock control.
Your duties will involve liaising with the company car/van fleet provider in regards to vehicle defects, services, MOT's etc
Raising and completing purchase orders for vehicles and locations as required
Tracking vehicle movement between locations
Processing accident reports
Arranging repairs with authorised company suppliers
Arranging for costs to be recovered as a result of accidents
Arranging repairs by outsourced companies and suppliers
Booking out pool cars when needed
Supervising the stores administrator, ensuring stock counts are done, uniforms are booked out to locations and that monthly charges to locations are produced and are correct;
Ordering uniform stock;
Creating and maintaining month end reports for uniform and commercial department;
Maintaining the department databases, spreadsheets and files;
Organising courier collections and deliveries for head office and company locations
Checking of company driver paperwork such as driving licences;
All admin within the commercial department including filing, faxing, photocopying, answering emails, typing letters etc;
Experience/skills required
Must have admin experience within a busy environment or responsible role;
Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative;
previous supervisory or experience of managing individual projects within a team environment;
Excellent communication skills and previous experience of customer services;
A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and good IT knowledge (word, excel etc);
You may sometimes need to travel to other locations in the company network.
You must have experience in a similar role, ideally within fleet control and/or stock control.
