My client is a large corporate financial services company based in Basildon. They are currently looking to recruit a Projects / Testing Assistant to join their busy team. This is a permanent full time position with a competitive salary of £25,000 plus other good benefits including free parking and subsidised restaurant.
As a Projects / Testing Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Technical Manager with the Wealth Management Technical functions. You will need to ensure that the integrity of the system is maintained at all times and that the technical team are able to provide an effective and efficient service function to the investors and management companies my client deals with daily in order to deliver an outstanding service and achieve client expectations.
Other duties for this position include;
• Liaising with external software providers to ensure that business requirements and expectations are met
• Maintain records of system related issues and status through to the completion
• Testing of system enhancements
• Provider of user training and documentation
• Highlight any areas of concern to your manager and see through any issues to resolution
• Reviewing the technical practices and in turn recommending any improvements if needed.
The successful applicant will have strong verbal and written communication skills. It is essential that you have the ability to analyse, interpret and present data in an organised and timely manner. It would be advantageous that you have experience of Investment Trust / Wealth Management. You will also need to have good Excel skills to enable you TO extract data for analysis.
