    ACCOUNT MANAGER
    SOUTHEND-ON-SEA, ESSEX
    £25,000 PER ANNUM

    The Client:
    As a rapidly expanding contact centre based in Southend On Sea, our client requires experienced Account Managers experienced in dealing with clients face to face and ideally from a 'blue Chip' background to join their friendly team.

    With the capacity looking to double by the end of 2008, you will be joining the business at an exciting time.

    Role Purpose:
    Reporting directly to the Client Services Director your responsibility will be to manage assigned key client accounts. You will need to have a clear understanding of client expectations, campaign results and the ability to seek new opportunities to increase revenue. Previous experience of the call centre industry would be a distinct advantage.

    Duties & responsibilities:
    * Manage and deliver projects whilst working within measured targets. Identify and delegate the project, team and individual objectives required to successfully deliver results to meet and exceed client expectations
    * Multi task and prioritise workload effectively. Plan tasks and processes required in order to achieve success, through the development and implementation of project plans and methodologies
    * Produce Management Information reports in a timely manner to both clients and internal functions. Interpretation of data and analysis providing a review of quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and suggest service improvements
    * Maintain a positive attitude when developing both internal and external relationships
    * Ensure that information is communicated effectively and in a timely fashion
    * Demonstrate appropriate service behaviours when dealing with staff, colleagues and customers
    * Take ownership and responsibility for problem solving in order to minimise the impact of the problem, to internal and external customers
    * Seek to prevent problems recurring in the future by implementing long term, effective solutions

    Essential Skills/Experience:
    * Experience of account managing and delivering projects
    * Working within measured targets
    * Experience of client facing meetings of senior management or director level
    * Excellent organisational and time management skills and should be able to multi task, prioritise and plan their work
    * Superior oral and written communication skills: candidates to have had client-facing experience, as there will be a high-level client interaction
    * A positive attitude and an ability to demonstrate skills in maintaining and developing both internal and external relationships with specific duties being tailored to project requirements
    * Business Development acumen in order to support our objectives to increase revenue from our existing client base
    * Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
