The Client:
As a rapidly expanding contact centre based in Southend On Sea, our client requires an experienced Team/Campaign Managers of a strong sales background to join their friendly team.
With the capacity looking to double by the end of 2008, you will be joining the business at an exciting time.
Role Purpose:
Reporting directly to Head of Operations you will be responsible for a campaign in it’s entirety as well as managing a team varying between 10-15 FTE. Your role will be to drive the team to meet and exceed targets based on client expectations, ensuring that sales are compliant and of excellent quality.
Duties & responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team delivering departmental Key Performance Indicators in relation to the assigned Campaign
* Inspire the team with energy and motivation to succeed targets and provide regular coaching on an individual and team basis working towards achieving targets
* Mentor staff to attain departmental service standards by setting relevant objectives and providing consistent feedback
* Maximise available resources through robust management of absence ensuring a consistent approach across the business
* Instigate and manage disciplinary action when appropriate in line with company policies and HR approval
* Empower staff to take ownership and responsibility, allowing personal growth and development
* Identify and escalate improvements for scripts and data to achieve maximum performance
* Identify training needs of staff not achieving target and take remedial action by structuring individual development plans and solutions
* Carry out performance management of staff by conducting regular one to one’s and performance reviews
* Take part in the induction of new staff into the business
* Ensure that information is communicated effectively and in a timely fashion
* Liaise with Business Development and Client Services to discuss achievability and running of campaigns
* Demonstrate appropriate service behaviours when dealing with staff, colleagues and customers
Essential Skills/Experience:
* A strong sales background is essential as well as the management experience of a sales/results driven campaign within a call centre
* Experience of full client interaction
* An active role in the recruitment and development of operational staff
* Ability to drive and encourage a team to achieve goals, performance, customer expectations and call regulations
* To understand organisation, departmental, and individual KPI’S and provide coaching sessions for improvement
* Ability to prioritise and time manage
* Confident in leading group discussions
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages

Full Time, Permanent.
