    The Company
    Our client is a rapidly expanding Managed Services Company; they have successfully grown their business by 40% in the last four years. They provide a range of Building Services Maintenance Solutions which incorporate Fire, Security, HVAC and M&E services and have a number of prestigious contracts in both the government and commercial blue chip sector. Our client is recruiting for a Project Manager covering the North of England and Scotland - the area covered will encompass Scotland the North East / M62 Corridor and North West area's, the candidate will ideally be based in England.

    The Role
    The purpose and remit of the Project Manager role includes:-
    * Manage delivery of project with agreed budget requirements to maximise profit.
    * Deliver solution within mutually agreed project plan. Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the projects. Ensure client acceptance is adhered in writing in line with the project plans.
    * Mutually agreed payment schedule and applications for payment to be made in line with project plan. Ensure compliance with the companies project management policies and procedures. Provide timely monthly reports to the Business Unit Director in an agreed format. Ensure subcontractors are closely managed and that all terms and conditions ar back to back whenever possible. Ensure aged debt is controlled below 60 days.
    * Accountabilities include accountable day-to-day to the relevant client, Line management responsibility for a project team and indirectly for sub-contractors plus financial responsibility for the delivery of the Project/s.

    The Candidate
    The Project Management skills and experience required for this role:-
    * Experience at a senior level and have delivered projects in excess of £1 million pounds.
    * Over 5 years experience in a Project Management role in the M&E or Hard Services arena and have a contracting background.
    * Good communication and man management skills and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    * Team player, as they will work closely with the companies Contract Managers and Design team including sub-contractors to design solutions.
    * Commercially aware, reliable and IT literate with skills covering MS Project, Word and Excel

    The Reward
    In return, the Project Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package including £35k to £45k salary plus bonus, car allowance (£5,200 per annum), 25 days holiday and pension and additionally due to company expansion the company offers excellent career progression opportunities.
