Title: Collections Recoveries Executive Salary: £16000 - £16500
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Collections Recoveries Executive to join a legal firm based in Leeds city centre. The Collections Recoveries Executive will be responsible for negotiating with debtors on behalf of clients to achieve the quickest and best level of debt recovery. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with previous debt recovery experience gained within a volume driven environment.
The Role:
In this full-time permanent position the Collections Recoveries Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of the pre-legal team caseload. The post-holder will be working as part of a team, undertaking work for both key clients and smaller clients in their entirety; acting on and responding to incoming post from debtors, third party solicitors, and clients; making and receiving telephone calls to debtors, third party solicitors and clients about the cases, and negotiating with debtors on behalf of the clients to achieve the quickest and best level of recovery. In addition to this the post-holder will be responsible for making strategic decisions to effect a successful recovery on behalf of the client and will use a fully automated debt recovery software system and then progress the cases.
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in debt recovery, preferably in a volume driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a pro-active telephone manner and the ability to handle up to 150 incoming/outgoing calls on a daily basis. You must be a strong negotiator and be able to demonstrate a track record of telephone based collection techniques. In addition to this you will be a strong communicator with excellent organisation skills and good IT skills.
Hours:
Shifts between 8am 8pm Monday to Friday, plus some Saturday mornings
