Database Administrator, Exeter, £Negotiable
Do you have previous experience within a Database Administrators role? If so we would love to hear from you!
The main responsibility of this role will be to manage and maintain SAP, SAP BW, Netweaver in all disciplines and modules, carry out research & development to maximise and improve the utilisation of SAP and its associated systems and applications. You will also be required to o manage and maintain the databases and be first line of support for office-based and some remote users. Other duties will involve IT training of other staff, where applicable and carrying out roles and responsibilities of other IT staff in their absence.
Experience of SQL Server any Structured Query language is essential to this role as is 2 years at DBA level or higher, preferably in a similar business environment. You will understand the IT basics for support as well as SQL Server 2005 Scripts and general server admin Network basics and SAP.
