OTE up to £40,000 approx.

My client is a company that was established in 2005 to provide an opportunity for young people to perform in a band and to learn from established session musicians. Following their success in the Sussex area, the company are now looking to expand into Essex and as such need someone to set up and develop the project within the region.
The job will entail building relationships with local schools, organising workshops at schools to promote projects, talking to parents outside schools, handing out flyers, database gathering, seeking performance opportunities in the area for students and dealing with local press. A good knowledge of the local area is essential as well as building knowledge of the local calendar in order to establish any opportunities for promoting the projects. You will need the ability to recognise which areas are suitable for which projects financially, working out any competition in the area and how any projects might be potentially provided to best suit the potential audience etc.
You will be provided with all the necessary marketing material and will receive full product training at head office but must be self-motivated and success driven as this is a commission only position where the opportunity to earn is uncapped and limited only by your energy and enthusiasm.
To be considered for this position you will ideally have business development or sales experience, an interest in music or young people and the enthusiasm to develop your own business opportunities.
