The Systems Administration Division of the Academic Section at the University of Essex is seeking a Systems Administration Manager to join an established team of staff responsible for the systems and processes that support the student ‘journey’ from admission through to graduation. You will manage the Course Records, Timetabling and Examination teams, and have overall responsibility for the maintenance of accurate course records data, for delivering the teaching timetable to agreed deadlines and for the smooth running of the University’s centrally-managed examinations. With proven motivation and team leadership skills, combined with substantial experience of working with complex relational databases, you will work together with staff at all levels throughout the University to ensure that relevant administrative systems and processes are efficient, effective and customer-focused.
