The Company
Our client is a rapidly expanding Managed Services Company providing a range of Building Services Maintenance Solutions and M&E services, they have a number of prestigious contracts across the UK within their Multi-site Maintenance division. Due to expansion our client is looking to recruit a Contract Manager in the Leeds area to manage a portfolio of 15 multi-site clients throughout Yorkshire.
The Role
The remit of the Contract Manager role includes:
Ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.
Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract/s are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, ensure additional services and projects are added, and contracts are re-won on re-tender.
Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP (work in progress), debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.
Ensure that both the clients and the companies Health and Safety policy and process is effectively implemented and that they are regularly reviewed.
Accountable day-to-day to the relevant client, ensuring that KPIs and agreed service levels are being met by the mobile service delivery teams to the client across all contract geography, responsibility for the delivery of Plan commitments for the contracts.
The Candidate
The Contract Manager skills and experience required for this role:-
Managerial experience at Contract Manager or Senior Supervisor level within a technical and or Hard Services arena.
Educated ideally to HND level, and able to demonstrate a career with continuous personal development, commercially astute with an understanding of the sales process and experience of either bidding new tenders or re-bidding to win tenders with existing clients.
Knowledge of fire and environmental control measures, building control requirements and the Health and Safety at work act.
Analytical, have vision and be an excellent communicator, be committed to customer service and possess a high level of personal integrity.
Computer literate, be organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure business critical environments.
Team player and have the ability to travel and stay overnight as some overnight stays may be required.
The Reward
In return, the Contract Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package including £35k - £40k salary and 20% bonus and car allowance of £4,800.
