Underwriter Property and Liability
Romford, Essex
Salary: £20,000 - £30,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading Insurance organisation for a Commercial Property/Liability Underwriter to join an expanding team based in Romford. This envious role offers a fantastic position for the right candidate to join such a fast moving and expanding company.
The Role
Liaising closely with a select panel of Brokers you will develop relationships ensuring opportunities for growth is maximised. Dealing with new business, renewals and mid term amendments this role is an integral part of the company’s expansion plans.
The Candidate Requirements
• Two or more years experience of working as a Commercial Underwriter from a Commercial Property, Liability or a Commercial Combined background.
• Be either professionally qualified, progressing towards or show a willingness to start working towards your insurance exams.
• Confident and able to deal with colleagues at all levels.
• Able and willing to work effectively under pressure and to complete the tasks required.
• Able to work as both a team player and using your own initiative.
• Good technical knowledge within Commercial Insurance.
