This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fund Accountant. This is a permanent full time position based in Chelmsford which offers an excellent package including a salary of £35,000 - £40,000, free parking, company pension, private healthcare and a bonus scheme.
To be considered for this position you will need to have:
• A Fund Accounting or Securities administration background
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate well as all levels both internally and externally
• Experience of Company Secretarial duties – preferred although not essential
As Fund Accountant you will be responsible for a range of duties which will include:
• Updating accounting records on in-house system
• Liaising with Fund Management Groups, Members of the Board, Registrars, Auditors and other service providers of the investment trust companies
• Calculating weekly net asset value
• Month End Management Accounts
• Monthly accruals of expenditure
• VAT Returns
• Processing Directors payroll
• Preparing various reports such as Investment Performance Summary, Investment Restrictions and Income Forecasts to include within Board Papers
