TCL/LJ 15562: Our client seeks a business support manager – Procurement for an assignment within its Finance & Resources division.
We are acting for a NE London based local authority
The post will be located in Ilford, IG1 and will be for 36 hpw, Mon-Fri, normal business hours.
This is anticipated to be, initially at least, a 2 to 3 month assignment.
Please note that under a special arrangement we have with a leading umbrella company, temps who elect to get paid under this route will receive, in addition to a higher hourly rate of pay, the following benefits which are not available under PAYE:

Essence of role:
You will be engaged to manage a small central purchasing and support unit that will deal with requests to purchase stationary, equipment, invoicing, monitoring PI's and financial orders across three large service areas. The intention is to streamline all processes to avoid duplication and ensure efficiency savings.

*UK procurement related managerial experience within a large organisation
UK local authority or other public sector experience advantageous, but not a prerequisite
