An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Planner / Analyst to join a leading organisation based in the North Leeds area. Working within the Commercial Planning Team you will be responsible for analysing data and forecasting to ensure effective product management / placement. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with data management and analytical experience.
The Role:
In this full-time permanent position the Commercial Planner / Analyst will be responsible for:
* Working with the Senior Sales Team, Planning Team, Product Team and Customers to ensure the delivering of effective product management
* The optimum utilisation of all products in order to maximise the best commercial returns for the business by using the assets and logistics available to the best effect, whilst fulfilling any specific Service Level Agreements for customers
* Supporting the National Account Management team in terms of reportage and preparation for Customer Review Meetings
* Contributing to a customer focused culture within the Planning team. Display a can do attitude which will be reflected by the customer perception of added value delivered by the Planning Team
Key responsibilities will include:
* Customer: Establish and maintain a positive working customer relationship through a combination of electronic, oral and report based communication
* Payment Schedules: Analyse/highlight exceptions for discussion and resolution. It is important that the financial impact of a new payment schedule is understood and forecasting can be used to minimise rental drops and nil rents
* Injection and Test: Ensure the identification and communication of suitable positions (ahead of delivery) in order to that products can be delivered to the correct site within the KPI timescales
* Exception Management: Review, investigate and resolve performance issues as generated by the reporting tools
* Changeover Plan: To produce a rolling weekly plan for product movements that will maximise customer revenue, meet customer expectations, ensure payment bands are managed in line with commercially agreed objectives
* Performance: Ensure the plan in terms of Customer expectations and payment returns is delivered
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for someone with data management and analysis experience along with good administrative skills. Experience of forecasting / planning, and an exposure / appreciation of account management is desirable. You must be a results-driven individual, with strong communication skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You must possess excellent organisation skills, good customer service skills, and be able to work under pressure. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills are ESSENTIAL.
