Claims Handlers

Claims Handlers required to be involved and responsible for the outsourced handling of motor claims for insurer, broker and fleet clients, on behalf of a successful provider of claims management services.


The role:
To pro-actively manage a caseload of Accidental Damage, Third Party Proactive and ULR claims.
Setting up and actioning new motor claims reported by brokers and policyholders direct, dealing with telephone calls from new and existing customers and resolving any claims related queries.
The role requires liaising between clients and appointed solicitors, repairers, engineers and credit hire companies to ensure customer claims are dealt with promptly, dealing with daily post and necessary documents.

The person:
The successful applicant will have motor claims handling experience within a broker or company environment with good knowledge of all aspects of Third Party, Accidental Damage and ULR.
Candidates must be competent in the use of various IT packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, together with excellent problem solving skills.
