Essex 3541: Our client seeks a part time site assistant/cleaner/handy person with an enhanced CRB check in place for an assignment within the facilities management department of its children's learning services division.
We are acting for an Essex based local authority
The post will be located in Bures, CO8 and will be for 10 hpw, Mon-Fri, 4PM-6PM.
This is anticipated to be, initially at least, a 3 month assignment.
Please note that under a special arrangement we have with a leading umbrella company, temps who elect to get paid under this route will receive, in addition to a higher hourly rate of pay, the following benefits which are not available under PAYE:

Essence of role:
• Responsible for cleaning of designated areas to a hygienic condition
• Responsible for basic preparation of materials and equipment for use in the centre by staff and clients
• To assist in repair and maintenance of equipment and practical maintenance to Centre buildings and grounds as required by the Manager.
• To assist in plumbing work, redecoration and plastering work such as repairing cracked or broken plaster, making good damaged walls, fencing and boundary repairs, if appropriately skilled
• To assist with upkeep and maintenance of grounds including gardening tasks
• To ensure that facilities are as clean as reasonably practicable and adequately stocked

*UK cleaning/caretaking/handy person, or closely related, experience
*You must have an enhanced CRB check in place that was issued or renewed within the past 12 months
