Job Description
My Client, a leading Energy Company based in West London, is recruiting for a temporary Lead Accountant to work in their Group Reporting team. This role requires knowledge of CODA. The role will support their Shipping Business Unit principally around financial reporting for their group consolidation and will require the successful candidate to produce one set of Statutory Accounts.
Key Accountabilities include;
Execution of timely quarterly and annual close processes. Accurate reporting in accordance with Finance Standards and Practices.
Provide Group and GST reporting for Shipping entities.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of the UK Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax pack for one legal entity.
Manage the General Ledgers for the Shipping companies, including processing journals.
Work closely with business and local IT team for day-to-day maintenance of financial systems, including CODA.
The successful candidate will be CA qualified (or equivalent), with around 2-3 years post qualified experience and must have knowledge of CODA accounting system. Experience of producing Statutory Accounts is essential as is the ability to prioritise work load, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
