Job Description
NURSERY MANAGER - EAST LONDON
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager looking for career progression or a manager wishing to do something different! This is a nursery with opportunity for growth and occupancy will need some building on from 6months or so of settling in. It is in a very nice part of North East London with a very friendly team. We are looking for a manager to continue the work in progress, building strong relationships and creating a warm and supportive environment.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention
To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
To Implement an effective parent liaison programme.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Good time management skills
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
Knowledge of OFSTED standards and EYFS
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
