| Cost Accountant Colchester Salary £28,000 Due to increased business and continued growth, our client, a large global organisation, is seeking a Cost Accountant to work within the Management Accounts Team. This is a progressive opportunity with a respected Company. The role will involve working to strict deadlines and ensuring a high level of accuracy. The role reports into the Divisional Finance Director and your responsibilities will include: * Review of actual vs. budget costs * Monitoring and reconciling various accounting systems * Linking and manipulating four accounting systems and using Access to run reports, then converting this to Excel * Perform monthly actual to budget reconciliation and calculating unit costs * Dealing with monthly accruals and prepayments * Review, reconcile and post monthly stock provision To be successful you will ideally be CIMA Part Qualified and will have experience within either Cost Accounting or Systems Accounting. Experience of using several different accounting systems is preferred and an advanced knowledge of Excel is essential to this role.
