| As an experienced Underwriter you will support the expansion of the Household account. You will work closely with the Pricing team in London and be the point of contact for the Underwriting team assisting with the production and interpretation of macro-underwriting data to make recommendations for change for all products across the Account. You will also support the Personal Lines Management Team in the strategic development of those products. While you will be based in Colchester, you will spend some time in the London offices. Principle duties and responsibilities • Technical development of new and existing products • Developing new/current underwriting Systems and processes • Driving product and performance development and consistency across products • Analysing account performance • Recommendations for account performance improvements against budgets • Developing Risk Selection Models The successful candidate will possess: • Macro-underwriting experience, preferably Household insurance • Highly competent in the use of underwriting tools and packages for the manipulation of data • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills • ACII preferred This is a fantastic opportunity to join during a time of focused growth where you will have the remit to make a real difference. |
