| The Role: To underwrite Commercial Package, Commercial Combined & Property Owners classes of business - in a system testing environment – will include new business quotes, mid term adjustments and renewal invitations Preparing detailed Underwriting test plan data & undertake system testing to enable validation of new underwriting systems and products Provide support to Underwriting Projects Manager in respect of producing specifications for underwriting parameters, rules & rating for e-traded commercial insurance business Develop and maintain close and effective relationships with our brokers, customers, claims, sales and survey colleagues Experience/Skills: Relevant underwriting or broking experience in Commercial Excellent interpersonal skills and confident in building relationships Strong IT skills Characteristics: Enthusiastic, industrious, good humoured and able to work on their own initiative but within a close-knit team This would suit an ambitious insurance professional who is looking to further their career within a dynamic underwriting environment which is growing quickly and has significant plans for future development. |
