| Purpose of the Job Accountable for maximising achievement of all learners through training and assessment activities. Maintain an appropriate level of personal caseload as determined by your Line Manager. Particular to the role Ensure personal NVQ/Framework achievement rates reflect the company targets. Promoting progression of learners from one programme to another (i) Generating repeat business through existing employer base (ii) Identify new opportunities through new employers (iii) Refer any new business to the Operations Manager or Business Development Manager where appropriate Identify new opportunities through new employers Complete the learners start up paperwork, inductions, initial assessment and all other documentation in adhering to all company policies and procedures. Carry out Health & Safety Risk Assessment and re-audits and ensure that the appropriate Health & Safety documentation has been completed for all learners Develop and maintain positive Employer links. Arrange for additional learner support where identified as being necessary. Plan and carry out regular assessments to maximise achievement rates of learners working towards Apprenticeship frameworks or NVQ's. Complete all necessary assessment documentation on an on-going basis in accordance with LSC contractual rules and Quality Assurance Procedures. Qualifications: D32/D33 or A1 qualification GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English. Other: Previous management/team leader experience Proven experience within an assessing role with the ability to organise and prioritise work in line with targets Good inter-personal communication skills and the ability to carry out presentations to individuals and small groups Excellent verbal and written communication skills Be emphatic, motivated, resilient and patient Ability to work flexibly as a member of a team Good administration and IT skills. |
