We have a new opportunity to join the team of expanding international client, who is developing a new department in Colchester.
We are seeking candidates who are self motivated, hard working and are seeking a new and challenging opportunity to work for a large international firm.
The role & responsblities:
Focussing on tree related subsidence claims, you will be responsible for liaising with both private tree owners and Councils, to achieve successful mitigation.
This role is varied and challenging, where you will be working on your own initiative and be responsible for managing your own case load. The successful candidate can expect to deal with the following tasks, on a regular basis:
Writing to private tree owners and local authorities regarding their vegetation.
Interpreting and instructing evidence to support our recommendations.
Awareness of the procedure surrounding Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Areas and DNA root testing.
Answering questions and queries regarding the mitigation process, including the law surrounding tree root trespass.
Building relationships with local authorities to achieve results. This may occasionally include on-site meetings, to progress mitigation.
Working closely with site investigatiors and contractoral orbaicutarialists for tree removal and arboricultural reports.
Managing your own work load and keeping offices updated on your progress.
Within the team you will each be responsible for an individual branches tree related subsidence claims and will help to execute and complete these claims.
The ideal candidate must posess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ablity to deal with a cross section of people.
You will be self motivated, flexible and willing to learn.
The position would suit a candidate with an interest in agriculture.
