The main responsibilities of the role will include:

•	Taking the first notification of loss from customers concerning both drivable and non-drivable vehicles

•	Undertaking the third party intervention process, which includes pro-actively contacting and managing third parties 

•	Liaising with suppliers to arrange recovery, repairs or hire 

•	Managing the repair process and updating customers as required

•	Liaising with both internal and external engineers regarding repair authority 

•	Acting as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers in relation to queries


Ideal applicants will possess: 

•	Previous experience of the claims notification process, including third party capture is essential
•	Excellent communication skills, both writing and verbally and be comfortable with communicating at all levels, internally and externally 
•	Be competent in the use of MS Office applications 

The successful applicant will work effectively within a team and achieve high standards in quality and quantity focusing on delivering results and exceeding customer expectations. 

This role is being offered on a 37½ hours per week basis.

Managing your own work load and keeping  offices updated on your progress.

Within the team you will each be responsible for an individual branches tree related subsidence claims and will help to execute and complete these claims. 

The ideal candidate must posess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ablity to deal with a cross section of people. 

You will be self motivated, flexible and willing to learn. 

The position would suit a candidate with an interest in agriculture.

Main Job Responsibilities

To identify and convert selling opportunities initially within the Control Panel and Switchgear market, and then within the Power Generation market

To prepare, progress and win quotations and tenders at agreed margins, within designated market sectors.

To achieve aggressive sales targets, and to contribute to the performance of the company by consistent achievement of targets.

The job will involve approximately 50% off site work visiting and developing customers, which will be tightly targeted and planned, to achieve the Sales levels and customer retention required.


Other Requirements

Experience will have been gained within a market associated to Generating Equipment, Control Panels and/or Rotating machinery. 

Sales experience will be one of success, and a good training base is a prerequisite, with continuing skills enhancement throughout your career.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have been employed in a company with a T/O up to &amp;amp;#163;10m, and is enthusiastic and hungry for success.

Age or gender is not important.  The ability to drive is a prerequisite, and there will be a requirement to be away from home for short periods, either in the UK or abroad.

Location will be in Essex, and a relocation package will be offered if necessary to the right candidate.


Structure

The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager as a part of three person sales team, which may be expanded with additional support staff.

Qualifications:
D32/D33 or A1 qualification
GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English.

Good inter-personal communication skills and the ability to carry out presentations to individuals and small groups
